how pretty is this editorial for h&m magazine fall 2010? anja rubik is beyond beautiful, she just looks so soft & radiant here. i love the shearling, denim, soft knits, layering, slouchy boots, and leather accessories. makes me want to go romp around on a pretty horse in the desert. well done h&m! i will definately be looking to you for fall essentials.

ok so technically it's friday, but i had a bad day at work yesterday & wasn't mentally able to blog. this week's song is from finger eleven, called living in a dream. a great canadian band who just keep rockin out hit after hit :) can't wait to hear all their new stuff when their album drops this october. check them out!

summer's not gone yet

just when i'm yearning for fall and all the new clothing choices that come with it, an editorial like this comes around that just makes me want to rent a cottage and roll around in the grass by a lake looking cute in barely there pieces. these pics are whispering to me 'are you crazy for wanting fall?' i may just get a last horrah out of summer after all :)

looking to follow in the footsteps of its supremely popular jade nail colour, chanel will be releasing three new les vernis for fashion's night out 2010. just as jade was first made available at fno 2009, this trio of khaki shades will be available september 10 in chanel boutiques, chanel online, and in select department stores. i absolutely love the new camouflage-inspired colours! they are perfectly on trend with a lot of the gray/brown/beige nails that were seen on the fall 2010 runways. i'm adoring khaki vert the best, you?

while the outfits for resin's fall 2010 lookbook are very simple, it is the artistry and styling of the editorial that makes it so appealing to me. these pictures scream bad-ass, in your face confidence, and sexiness (in a rough sort of way). don't you feel like this girl could really mess some shit up if she wanted to? lol. i really happen to love the ankle boots and wedges.... kick-ass.

i want to start highlighting a song that i happen to love every week - i will post it every thursday (thus... thurssong - this may just be a horrible name made up as a result of my sleep deprivation  lol) this week's tune comes from the super-talented brandon flowers (lead singer of the killers) and is called crossfire. love this man's voice! an appearance by charlize doesn't hurt either ;) enjoy!
